Jelonet Sterile gauze Fat At Paraffin Jelonet is a sterile paraffin tulle gras, made from open weave gauze. The wires of the gauze are twisted to minimize fraying, in the case where the dressing is cut into the desired shape. Jelonet has low adhesion and allows free drainage of the wound, allowing the passage of exudate to an absorbent secondary dressing. Jelonet not medicated and so is ideal for use with antiseptics or topical antibiotics. Jelonet is available in various sizes, the largest of which is suitable for use in the Departments Burns.
