Calcium ᴅ‑glucarate is the calcium salt of ᴅ‑glucaric acid, a natural substance produced by the body in small amounts and that aids the liver in detoxification.
Calcium ᴅ‑glucarate is converted within the stomach to ᴅ‑glucaric acid, a powerful ally to detoxify and strengthen hepatic function. Once converted, it actively inhibits the action of an enzyme which contributes to many diseases.
