Waterproof
The OPSITE post-operative dressing is impermeable to water and body fluids, allowing the patient to take a bath or shower without having to change the dressing.
Resistant to bacteria
The OPSITE post-operative dressing forms a barrier against bacteria to reduce the risk of superinfection.
Aerated
Its high permeability to water vapor allows the wound and the skin around it to breathe, thus minimizing the risk of maceration. The adhesive, with good skin tolerance, reduces the risk of irritation while allowing the dressing to stay in place even when located on difficult contours.
Transparent film
The transparent film allows the user to monitor the fluid level and make sure there is no infection without having to remove the dressing. Therefore, it is possible to use the dressing for a maximum period of time.
Absorbent and non-adherent
Very thick, the pad has a great absorption power, thus minimizing the frequency of dressing renewal while protecting the wound against any other injury. The non-adherent surface of the pad encourages wound debridement and relieves the patient by reducing pain when changing the dressing.

The OPSITE post-operative dressing is highly conformable, even on the most difficult anatomical contours. Its extensibility does not restrict movement, ensuring patient comfort.
