It has also garnished folkloric status for the effect it has on elephant behaviour when they feast on its fallen, fermented fruit.
Marula oil has a fine molecular structure, which lends it a light texture that penetrates the skin to strengthen its lipid layer. Once the lipid layer is quenched, it can lock down moisture to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
