The Acticoat Flex 3 by Smith & Nephew is an antimicrobial barrier dressing designed for wound care. This flexible and conformable dressing is coated with nanocrystalline silver, known as Silcryst, providing rapid and effective antimicrobial activity.

• High conformability: Made with a single layer of knitted polyester, the dressing easily adapts to body contours, ensuring constant contact with the wound surface and providing patient comfort during wear. 
• Low adherence: Designed to minimize wound trauma during dressing changes, facilitating removal without causing additional harm. 
• Wear time: Can remain in place for up to 3 days, offering continuous antimicrobial protection and reducing the frequency of necessary dressing changes. 

Usage Indications:

Acticoat Flex 3 is suitable for various wounds, including pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, partial thickness burns, and donor sites. Its open weave structure facilitates fluid passage through the dressing and helps manage moisture levels, reducing the risk of maceration.
