Buckley's® Mucus Relief Cough Cold & Flu Syrup is a sucrose-free formulation designed to provide rapid relief from various cold and flu symptoms. This syrup effectively alleviates cough, chest congestion, nasal and sinus congestion, sore throat pain, fever, headaches, and minor body aches. The active ingredients include potassium bicarbonate, ammonium carbonate, menthol, and camphor, which work together to loosen and thin mucus, making it easier to expel. Each 5 mL dose contains 267 mg of potassium bicarbonate, 153 mg of ammonium carbonate, 22 mg of menthol, and 2.2 mg of camphor. The syrup is intended for adults and children over 12 years old; it should be taken every 6 hours as needed, with a maximum of 4 doses (60 mL) in 24 hours. Users are advised to consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen.
